Mass vs. Weight

There are many differences between mass and weight. One is that mass does not change when location changes and weight changes when gravity changes in new locations. Mass is measured in grams, and weight is measured in Newtons. Another difference is that mass is measured on a triple beam balance scale and weight is measured on a spring scale. There are also many similarities between mass and weight. One is they are both general properties of matter. They are both not affected by volume, and they can both be measured. Also, on earth they stay the same mass and weight, but if you go to space, that will change.
